Our charming and cosy holiday apartment Alameda 3 is located in a perfect enclave for sightseeing around the city of Malaga, being along La Alameda Principal (Main Boulevard), one of the main avenues in the city centre, and where you can find all the city bus stops that will take you from one end of the city to the other. There are also 3 taxi ranks here. Train station María Zambrano is just 1 kilometre away from the apartment.
The main streets and plazas of the city are located just a few meters away from the apartment such as Calle Larios, 450 metres away, Plaza de la Constitución, 550 meters away, and Calle Molina Larios, 550 meters away, where the Cathedral of Malaga is located.
Just 900 meters away from apartment Alameda 3 is the Alcazaba, which, along with the Castle of Gilbralfaro and the Roman Theatre constitutes the most important archaeological site of the city. The Roman Theatre is located in Calle Alcazabilla. From here you can get to Plaza de la Merced, where the Picasso route of Malaga commences with Picasso’s Birthplace Museum. This nineteenth century building is where the artist was born and lived until 1884 and it houses original works from his permanent collection and temporary cessions, plus pottery, engravings, illustrated books and personal objects belonging to the painter and his family.
Do not forget to take a walk along the Malaga Park, 500 meters away, to Paseo de la Farola, which ends at the milestone that is the Lighthouse from 1817, symbol par excellence of the city of Malaga.
From the Lighthouse you can enjoy spectacular views of the Port of Malaga and of the city, whose historical centre you can get to by crossing Muelle Uno, which is a commercial and leisure area where you can do some shopping at the exclusive shops there and recharge your batteries at any of the bars and restaurants along the quay.
Get to know the gastronomy of the city by visiting local market Mercado de Atarazanas, 350 metres away. The main door to the market belongs to an ancient shipyard dating back the Arabic era. The shields located on the upper part of the arch have traced it back to the reign of Nasrid ruler Muhammed V. This site is wonderful for discovering great local produce.

This beautiful apartment has a maximum capacity for 5 people and it comprises of 2 bedrooms, one of which has a double bed and the other has 2 single beds. Additionally, there is an extra bed available. The living/dining room and kitchen are open plan. The kitchen has everything you will need to make your stay in the centre of Malaga pleasant and to make you feel at home. It includes all the necessary kitchenware and appliances: fridge/freezer, washing machine, electric hob, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, etc.
The bathroom is modern and practical and it has a shower with shower screen.

If you have decided to visit one of the most up and coming cities in Europe, do not miss out on what Malaga has to offer. Here are some of our suggestions which we are sure you will love:
- Take a romantic evening stroll along Muelle Uno, the new trendy area of Malaga.
- Have lunch or dinner at El Pimpi, one of the most character taverns in Malaga, located opposite the Roman Theatre. If possible try to go in the evening so that you can enjoy a flamenco show.
- Have a good local breakfast and try some zurrapa, a pitufo, lomo en manteca or some delicious tejeringos. Accompany your breakfast with one of the several types of coffee prepared in Malaga (nube, corto, sombra…).
- Take a ride on the Malaga Eye and enjoy the spectacular views from the top. It is the largest temporary wheel in Europe!
- Experience, at least once, the Feria of Malaga in August. It is one of the best celebrations in Spain.
