There is a saying in Spanish that translates: “If you want to really get to know a city, you must visit its market”, and this is what occurs when you visit Mercado Atarazanas in Málaga, located 650 metres from apartment Mitjana. The current building is the work of architect Joaquín Rucuba, which formerly housed a Nasrid boatyard and which nowadays, as well as its commercial function with dozens of different stalls, it has bars with terraces offering cuisine combining tradition and modernity.
If you have come to enjoy the fabulous weather, you must pay a visit to La Malagueta Beach, located 1 kilometre away, and take a walk along its promenade with bars right on the beach.
