Málaga is not only sea and sun. You can visit the main monuments in the city, the sites of interest and take some time to enjoy its gastronomy, amongst other things. Here are some of our recommendations which will enrich your experience with stories to share when you return home:
- Do not miss out on a sunset at the Mirador of Gibralfaro. It is one of the most essential and most romantic things to do in Málaga.
- View “La Farola” (lighthouse) from different points in the city. It is the only lighthouse in Spain that has a feminine name.
- You must have lunch or dinner at El Pimpi, the bar with most character in Málaga. If possible, go in the evening and enjoy a flamenco show. You will probably return the next day…
- Accompany your breakfast with one of the different types of coffee prepared in Málaga (corto, nube, sombra…).
- Take a ride on the Málaga Eye and enjoy the breathtaking views from the top. It is the largest temporary wheel in Europe!
- A touch of colour and modernity can be found at the Pompidou Centre in Málaga, the only one outside of France.
