FEATURES OF THE AREA
Our holiday apartment Angel is located right in the historical center of Malaga. From here the majority of the most important tourist sites of the city are only a short walk away. Nightlife here is very popular so there are places to have a drink a few meters away from the apartment. You must not leave without visiting the most famous bar in Malaga: El Pimpi. You can enjoy their wonderful tapas or dishes in their traditional tavern style barrooms or, if you prefer, sit outside on their fabulous terrace with views of The Alcazaba and Roman Theatre.
Also a few meters away you will find Mesón Astur along Calle Capitan. In this small Asturian family tavern you can try traditional dishes from the North of Spain where we specially recommend: cabrales cheese croquettes, chorizo in cider, cabraccio pie, Galician style octopus, filets with cabrales cheese, and cachopo (beef filets filled with ham and cheese). It is a very healthy way to get to know Spanish cuisine better.
In the area you can also visit a wide range of shops, amongst which you will find the most renowned international chains such as Mango, Zara and Intimissimi, as well as local jewellery, handbag and shoe shops, amongst others.
