Apartment Riviera Seaside
This fantastic holiday apartment Riviera is perfectly situated to enjoy the sun and the sea, being along the seafront (just 200 metres away) and located in an urbanisation called Lubina del Sol. The fact that it boasts a fabulous position and that it is surrounded by some of the best golf courses, tennis clubs, yacht clubs and horse riding schools make it the perfect enclave to enjoy an unforgettable holiday.
In addition to relaxing on the beach and enjoying some traditional skewered sardines (local way of cooking sardines skewered on embers in the sand), there are many interesting places to visit in the town of Mijas, which is 17.7 kilometres from apartment Riviera. We have put together a list of some very interesting museums: the Wine Museum (20.9 kilometres away), the Miniature Museum of Mijas (18.9 kilometres away), which is worth visiting for the curious items it houses, including the human head reduced by the Shuar tribe. The Historical-Ethnological Museum (19 kilometres away) housing many machines, equipment, tools and ancient pieces, everything very well preserved and distributed over several rooms which represent different arts and lifestyles of the past century.
Another site of the city is the Hippodrome of Mijas, located 21.7 kilometres from the holiday apartment Riviera. It is currently not used as a hippodrome, but as a horseshow venue. It is a very nice place to visit, even when there are not any tournaments, as you can contemplate the work that has to be put in beforehand and the training of the horses for the tournaments.
When a tournament takes place everyone is out to celebrate which, along with its beautiful facilities, makes the hippodrome a site worth visiting.
If you feel like relaxing, Roman Baths Hammam Almanzor are 15.4 kilometres away, which is one of the most exotic beauty resorts in the Costa del Sol. They offer an exclusive, personalised and relaxing service.
Fuengirola is located 18 kilometres away, Marbella is 15 kilometres away and the airport of Málaga is 35 kilometres away.

FEATURES OF THE AREA
The town of Mijas is divided into three areas. Mijas Pueblo is the historical centre made up of white houses located on the hillside of the range, whilst La Cala with its 12 kilometres of coastline is the most touristic area. Las Lagunas, located very close to Fuengirola, is the third enclave.
There are many leisure activities to do in the area. Here are our recommendations:
– Guided off-road tours: LetsRide Spain, Rangers Safari Tours or Adventure-Spain.com, amongst others.
– Mijas Peak Route: A rather difficult hike but worth taking for the breathtaking coastal views and being in contact with nature.
– Aquamijas: A fun water park for children.
– Scuba-diving and snorkelling: Diving with Nick, a small independent scuba-diving club.
– Guided tours on foot: Mijas Walking Tours, if you wish to really to get to know the history and best hideouts of Mijas Pueblo do not think twice…
The food offer in the province of Málaga is very wide and the quality is great. In Mijas Costa you will find many interesting places to have some tapas or a meal: Casa Greco (creative dishes), Restaurante Valparaiso (Mediterranean food), or El Mero Los Mellizos (specialised in fish and seafood).
The Costal del Sol is full of impressive places to visit, as well as activities to keep you busy. Come along and enjoy!
