Aparment for rent Alameda Principal Comfort A (Malaga)

Our attractive holiday apartment Alameda 1 is located along the Main Boulevard of Málaga (Alameda Principal), one of the main avenues of the city centre, and where you can find all of the city bus stops that will take you from one end of the city to the other. There are also 3 taxi ranks here.

Train station María Zambrano is just 1 kilometre away from the apartment.

Just 300 metres away you will find local market Mercado de Atarazanas, which was built upon the ancient site of a Nasrid shipyard and of which the door still remains. In Spain they say that if you wish to really get to know a city, the first thing you must do is visit its market. Here you can have some tapas and local wines on the picturesque terraces, which are very popular amongst locals and visitors.

The main street of the city is Calle Marqués de Larios, which is 450 metres away. It is one of the main commercial streets housing renowned national and international brands. This street was inaugurated in 1891 and it is the exponent of urban nineteenth-century reorganisation which broke away from the Arabic past of the area, with the intention of opening a direct route to the port.

From here you will reach Plaza de la Constitución, which is the heart of the historical centre of Málaga.

Everybody who comes to Malaga must not forget to try a traditional local breakfast at any of the cafés in the area. A good coffee with churros or a “pitufo” with local olive oil is the perfect power food.

If you walk down the narrow street of Santa María (to the east) you will come very close to the Cathedral and the Cathedral Museum, 550 metres away from the apartment Alameda 1. Opposite the main façade of the Cathedral is Plaza del Obispo. On the north side of Plaza del Obispo is the Episcopal Palace. This Palace is in fact a group of attached buildings, the main façade of which constitutes one of the most beautiful examples of local Baroque architecture.

If you approach the Cathedral via Calle Santa María, you will find the majestic Isabelline façade of El Sagrario and you will reach Calle Císter. If you carry on down this street and turn right down Calle Afligidos you will find Museum Revello de Toro, 750 metres away. Here you can admire the wonderful works of renowned local portrait and figurative painter Féliz Revello de Toro. If we go back to Calle Císter, just a few metres further on towards the east you will reach Palacio de la Aduana, where the Museum of Malaga is located, housing collections from the Museum of Arts and the Archaeological Museum of the Province of Malaga. Next to Palacio de la Aduana is the Alcazaba, which was built between the eleventh and fifteenth centuries, and which was the fortress palace of the Muslim rulers. At its foothills is the Roman Theatre, which was built during the first century B.C. during the reign of Augustus I and remained active until the third century A.D. Since its restoration, the Roman Theatre of Malaga has regained its use as a stage. It is located 900 metres from apartment Alameda 1.

There are many unique and unforgettable experiences to be lived and felt in the city of Malaga. We provide you with the perfect accommodation and you tailor the experience.
